Publications

There are a number of publications available on all the evanglists who are on this site, They are discussed below.

Hedley G Murphy

Two books are available. The first one is well known and was written by Hedley himself. Called “ Under His Wings” is the story of the work from 1962 until 1984. The next year Hedley was at home with the Lord so it is more or less the full story of his life times work How the Lord works had it not been written in 1984 we may not have had it at all. But God’s way is perfect

The other book that is available was never published. It was written by DR Fred Tatford after Hedley’s death. DR Tatford has written over 70 books and preached in over 40 countries. In business life he was the director of the U.K atomic energy authority. The book is called “A Man For The Master” ( available before end of 2004 D.V ) and is the full story of Hedley’s life and work. It goes into great detail and is a book that anyone interested in the life of Hedley Murphy must read. I would encourage anyone reading this to read this book. Had it been published it would have been a top seller. You will be blessed and encouraged as you read it. Again a special thanks to Mrs. Irene Murphy for allowing this to be published here.

May I say a number of things about the book. I received it as a draft typed out on A4 paper. I have tried to correct any spelling mistakes but some may remain. It was a pleasure to get it in its original condition.

Willie Mullan

I have only the one book for Willie Mullan. “Tramp After God” . It was written by Willie Mullan in 1979. The next year he was with Christ. This book is available to read online or can be downloaded in pdf format in the download section. God works in a wonderfull way both he and Hedley Murphy both went home the next year after they published their life story.

Frank Knox

One book is available. “Frank Knox”  It was written by evangelist J.G Hutchinson in 1993. It makes very interesting reading and is the story of Frank Knox from birth until his death in 1975. I recommend you read this book as it will give you some insight into the large volume of work which Frank carried out over his lifetime.
